Yesterday I took our kitten, Caruso (named for the great singer of yore because of his marvelous voice), to the vet for his final kitten shots. Then made an appointment for our dog, Nikki, to get her teeth cleaned. I wouldn’t be surprised if you heard me gasp out here in CA when they handed me the estimate for that little job!! It was nearly $400! Of course, that was their high estimate; it might actually come in around $250 if no teeth need to be extracted. She’s never had her teeth cleaned and she will be 9 years old this Dec. They need cleaning but I don’t think she’ll have to have any extracted. After recovering from the shock of the price, I decided it should be done anyway. She really doesn’t cost much in upkeep and she’s always been so healthy. I saw how much it hurt my previous dog, Chrys (who lost several teeth), not to keep up with the teeth cleaning, so I couldn’t put her through that. So, Friday I take her in early and pick her up in the late afternoon—yup, she stays a whole day because they put her under to do it and they want to make sure she recovers OK.
We saw "Spider-man 3" last night. Toby McGuire is certainly a fine actor and did a bang-up job as Peter Parker. Wonder if they are planning a #4 sequel???
Well, it’s off to the Napa valley for me today—pianos to tune. Then it’s Soccer practice and judo again tonight.
Happy Day!

BUSY WOMAN…what you been eating to keep you up at night?? hah!
